What Is yin yoga?
Yin yoga is the slow, feminine counterpart to the more popular “yang” yoga (such as hatha or ashtanga) that is taught in most studio classes. Gentle poses, held for 3-5 minutes each, help to release tension deep within the muscles and connective tissue. Yin also helps us travel into the emotions that our bodies store energetically in the form of stress.
Fewer poses, held for longer periods of time, help us reach into those places that are usually overlooked and bring us into the present moment to release anything that may be stuck or stagnant in the body.
After assessing your needs and abilities, Amber will create and record a personalized session for you so you may revisit it whenever you need it!
